The construction is glass and the light distribution is 300° which makes the lamp an easy answer when retrofitting simple strip fixtures or more decorative pendant fixtures. This Type B direct wire lamp is easily installed with simple rewiring directly to 120VAC or 277VAC power supply. Follow the instructions provided to wire the load (black wire) to one end of the lamp and the neutral (white wire) to the other end. There is no need to replace lamp holder sockets.
